Positive: Our stay was magical. Super friendly hosts,family owned chateau with exceptional wine. We had a wine tasting in the evening with a breathtaking view of the sunset. Rooms are very cozy and authentic. Highly recommend it!

Positive: Chateau le Truch was a wonderful place to stay, and so well located. With a vineyard literally on your doorstep, stunning and natural views all around, and a quiet setting, it's the perfect getaway. Big thanks to our hosts for feeding us every morning, our toddler loved her stay (and the chickens/cows nearby), and the wine was delicious.

Positive: If only I could give note 15/10! This is absolutely fantastic place. Situated close to Bordeaux, in quiet village surrounded by vineyards. The building dates from 15th century. Hosts Alain and Raykhana were amazing. They explained us the fascinating history of this place and made us try their wine. You can buy it as well there. Breakfast was delicious..served on the terrace with vineyard view. I really recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. Raykhana and Alain thank you for this unforgettable experience.

Positive: Interesting hosts with worldly experience. Cool rooms in spite of the heatwave outside, and without working A/C. Great restaurant recommendations plus the hosts made a reservation for us. We had a very special chat with Raykhana, who shared important philosophies with us!

Negative: WiFi instructions were inconveniently outside the room, rather than inside. A/C did not work for us, but we were fine without it anyway. Instructions for its use might have made a difference?

Positive: Hosts were were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They found time to show us around even though they were about to harvest the grapes in a couple of days time. Room was comfortable and spacious

Negative: The parking was a little awkward, but it was a vineyard and not a commercial hotel

Summary: Only there for 1 night but it was very quiet, relaxing and interesting to see a real French vineyard
